This challenge is about boosting your health by riding your bike to your workplace and back home as much as you can. Collect the kilometres on a day-by-day basis. Race with one of your coworkers and be the first one who collects 500 km by cycling to work. Definitely a great and very healthy type of team building activity challenge!
These rules and requirements are just suggestions. This is this activity is done best. Of course, you can choose to have your own rules.
Some important traffic-related infos below, when cycling to work
Easy: measure the kilometres taken right from your house to the entrance of your workplace. Then the distance from your workplace to your home. Document the kilometres every morning.
As for the route, take the shortest route possible when cycling to work – don’t cheat!
Of course, it depends on the bike routes of your city (use smart maps to determine them) – we recommend you to take those instead of cars’ roads. Unnecessary detours – especially long ones – don’t count! Obviously, construction works is a great example – if you have to take another route to home/your workplace, it counts. And of course, the kilometres taken are only valid during the workdays.
